Rick Interesting stuff you're working on. Check out the wsbeite of this other small solar company over in Southern Maine called Blue Link Solar. They've got a somewhat different product than what you're working on (I think) but a friend of mine in Bar Harbor bought one of their setups and mounted it on his Garden Way cart just so he could wheel it out, plug it into his house and put energy back in the grid, then wheel it into the garage when he was away. Kind of what you're working on? Or is your concept not intended to be grid tied? Keep up the good thinking. /Steve/

I've learned a nubmer of important things through your post. I might also like to express that there may be situation in which you will apply for a loan and do not need a co-signer such as a Federal Student Aid Loan. However, if you are getting credit through a traditional loan provider then you need to be prepared to have a cosigner ready to help you. The lenders will certainly base their own decision on a few variables but the most significant will be your credit rating. There are some creditors that will also look at your work history and make a decision based on that but in many cases it will hinge on your report.

I am also interested in Nancy's iiurnqy. I'd like to know why, when students find the greatest common divisor of pairs of numbers up to 100, they only find the least common multiple of pairs of numbers up to 12. Two concerns there. First, since lcm(a,b) = ab/gcd(a,b), I don't see why students shouldn't find gcd and lcm of pairs of numbers up to [the same maximum]. Second, for finding common factors there aren't many interesting examples of pairs of integers up to 12. There are only seven pairs that have a common proper factor, (4,6), (4,10), (6,8), (6,10), (8,10), (8,12), and (10,12), and only one, (8,12), has a common proper composite factor. There don't seem to be enough examples for students to practice.

I find that similar to what is found in the USA, Mexico's poilcital strongholds are regional. The northern states and the Baja California peninsula are heavy PAN supporters (Baja California Sur however does have a sizeable PRD voting element).The extreme south and east seem to be PRI oriented. The most populous area, the center third of the country has a grand mix of PRD and PRI supporters.Of course the regions are far from being homogenous. While one party may dominate one area, it isn't close to being a 100% majority. Even the strongly PANISTA Baja California has a sizable contingent of PRDistas and PRIistas.Like religion, and sex, the issue of politics can stir up unexpected emotional outbursts among macho males. Many Mexicans develop a rather sudden and strong disliking toward visitors who appear to be sticking their nose too deeply into Mexican politics, especially around election time.I like to play it safe and if a Mexican national asks me who I would prefer to see become president of La Republica, governor of the state or mayor, I reply Whomever the Mexican voters feel would be best . This answer has kept me out a lot of hot water.

I think you mean Google. Youll laugh at Google for copying them. Apple aint going to take over no Microsoft. Itll be Google that takes away their mkerat share. If Microsoft is GM, the brand everyone buys because they always have then Apple is BMW, the sleeker, more fun, more complete and more expensive and better (until you need parts) brand. Google is Toyota. Everything you could need at an affordable price. Not too flashy but it always works (mostly). The only problem is when they finally do overtake Microsoft and their product is in everyones hands theyre going to have a serious problem with their gas pedals.
