I cannot nimgaie how one could study this area of technical skill online. This kind of work involves learning how to do things with your hands, understanding the tools, learning how the products work and feel when applied. The only way I can see to learn this is to actually handle the stuff. Yes, there will be some theory/knowledge you could study on line. But after that, you'll have to apprentice. Was this answer helpful?

I would like to thank all the Schools, Art Teachers, Art students and eembmrs of the CTRC that participated in The SCVA exhibit the weekend on June 7&8.The Artwork is better every year and the behind the scenes work of the volunteers of the CTRC is wonderful. This was a great way to lead into the Allentown Art Festival Weekend. If there are any schools that would wish to participate in the Student Celebration of the Visual Arts, SCVA, next year, please contact Brad Curcio, at the Email below.Colleges are welcome as well!!Many ThanksBrad

I'm writing this ansmuisg that you want an experience you can apply to a career in some fashion (not necessarily as experience you can put on your resume) and that you plan to continue on the educator and/or liberal arts route (clearly you would not care about where to study abroad if you wanted to be a mathematician, since experiencing the world is not really needed for that subject). This is pretty much what I did when considering a study abroad program. The first thing to do is sit down and figure out where you want to be in 5, 10, and 20 years after your degree is complete. The only thing I could think you would do with an Education BA is become an administrative official at a school or college, without further education credits in a specialized area like math or science or primary school teaching. Therefore, you might look into possible internships or work study experience you could get through colleges in countries you have the option to study abroad at. Otherwise, just go where you think you might like to go.If you plan to eventually concentrate in an educational field, I would suggest sitting down with a piece of paper, folding it in half and making a list on each side. One side should be a list of subjects you might want to teach (and possibly get your Masters/Ph.D in) and the other side should be a list of places you think you might want to go because they interest you and do some matching to see if any of the two work together (for example, you decide you want to teach history at a university and that you might like greek history and Greece happens to interest you this is a match). Add the ones that match to your short list. The interesting thing about getting an advanced degree is that it teaches you specialization in your chosen field. A history major, for example, will choose to specialize in some time period and generally some country (Italian Renaissance Ph.D. student might like to have gone to Italy for their undergrad study-abroad program). An English major specializing in Romantic poetry might have visited England and seen all the places described by Romantic poets, like Wordsworth's Tintern Abbey (a real place in the UK!) or to another country where a museum has been created to represent these authors, or where romantic poetry is highly valued as part of the institution's curriculum. A psychologist might decide to specialize in Early Childhood Development and might have studied abroad at a college where this topic was making new discoveries (if not a US institution). An anthropologist might decide to study ancient South American civilizations because he went to Brazil. A social studies teacher might visit an African Institution (though it is pretty dangerous today), so that they have close access to tribes. Etc. Etc. Etc. I hope this helps a bit. Good luck.

Hi Marina,Last summer, my ceuaolgle, Darrell Bryce and I (and two more teachers from BC) were the participants in the summer week-long workshop on modern Physics in Perimeter Institute. Do you think we could present the materials from there as a some sort of workshop at some point?//We spoke briefly about it at the last Physics Olympics.//.I would apreciate if you share your thought about it.Sincerely yours,Marina ChugunovaScience DepartmentGleneagle Secondary
